Listening to podcasts has become a natural part of my daily schedule. I usually listen to one while eating my breakfast and getting ready in the morning. I then listen to them every opportunity I have, I no longer watch TV unless it’s scheduled self-care time and I’ve chosen to watch TV so when I’m working or relaxing I usually have a podcast on in the background. It’s amazing how much they inspire, motivate and educate you. Here are just a few of my favourites.
I was so excited when I heard that Oprah was launching a podcast, I subscribed from day one and have listened to everyone. The inspiring guests that she has on the show will blow you away, including an ex-president, New York Times Bestseller and NBA Coach. It’s educational in all areas of life and also spiritually which I really enjoy. It’s well worth a listen if you want to feel inspired.
This is a daily podcast where the host reads blogs about minimalism and personal development. I personally love these podcasts as they’re between 5 and 10 minutes long and it’s good to have a break from reading blog posts on a phone or computer. There are so many great blog posts read daily so it’s a great opportunity to further educate yourself.
I subscribed to this one recently having always read the blogs on the success website. I love the information shared in these podcasts and learn so much from it every week. They always include guests that are very inspiring and motivational and never fails to put me in a good mood.
I’ve been subscribed to this one since I started listening to podcasts. It’s a longer podcast with each one between 60 and 90 minutes but it’s well worth the time. The host, Lewis Howes, interviews incredible guests who share inspiring stories. This is a great podcast to listen to for motivation and inspiration and well as education on how to be great in all areas of life.
I first subscribed to this podcast when I was a beginner to mindfulness and had very limited knowledge. It is where I’ve learnt the most about mindfulness and how to use it in everyday life. The host, Rachel Kable, shares advice, ideas, and mindfulness practices for you to try. I’ve tried many of them and found them very useful in helping me become more mindful and relaxed in everyday life.
A while back I was having trouble falling asleep, I searched in Podcasts for sleep meditations and came across this one. They vary between 10 and 30 minutes in length and never fail to get me to sleep before the podcast has finished. They also have the option to upgrade to get access to longer sleep meditations if you want them.
I hope you give a few of these podcasts a try and enjoy them as much as I do. Let me know what you think of them.
