How I Have Used The Law Of Attraction
I first heard about the law of attraction when I read the book ‘The Secret’. I had heard the book was good and many of my friends recommended it so I thought I’d see what all the fuss was about.
The book looks amazing, really well designed and the pages, graphics and print all work so well together. It was one of the best and most interesting books I’ve ever read, I was addicted to it and couldn’t wait to learn more. Naturally, I then bought the DVD so I could learn more about the law of attraction and how to make it work for me.
Recognising what I’d been attracting
It all began to make sense, everything in my life and I could recognise what I had done to attract it into my life. For example, I had a fear of spiders but I only ever saw them when I was thinking about them. If I saw one I would think about it for days and this attracted more spiders so I would see them daily until I stopped giving it my attention.
How The Law of Attraction has helped me
This is the perfect week for me to be writing this blog post – I’ve been working on manifesting money as I have realised I had a block with thinking I am not worth good money and don’t deserve it. So I have an affirmation that I read daily:
“I am a magnet for money. Money flows freely into my life. My income is always increasing. I deserve to earn the money I am worth, my income potential is unlimited”
Within the month of starting read this daily I have attracted over £400 – after listening to a de-clutter podcast I decided to sell some old things I don’t use. I believe that is how the law of attraction works. It sends signs and messages that are giving you what you are trying to attract. If I hadn’t have listened to that podcast I wouldn’t have made the money.

Another area of my life I have used the law of attraction is my health. Anyone that knows me knows I’ve always struggled with stomach problems. At the age of 20, I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease which suggested why I’d always had stomach problems. However when starting a gluten free diet my stomach didn’t go back to normal like it should, I still had stomach pains daily.
I started to work on attracting good health making sure that every thought I had was about good health. I realised that every time I thought ‘my stomach hurts again’ ‘why do I always have stomach pain?’ All I was doing by thinking these thoughts was attracting more stomach pain and problems.
“Where focus goes energy flows”
Now I only allow myself to think positive thoughts about my health, if I do feel ill I focus on getting better and affirmations of good health rather than focusing on the way I’m feeling. Over the past 2 months, I’ve been nowhere near as ill as I used to be on a daily basis. It’s been a huge improvement and I truly believe that it’s thanks to the law of attraction.
I highly recommend buying the book and DVD to widen your knowledge of the law of attraction and learn how it can work for you.
