Book Review – The Little Book Of Good Enough
The Little Book Of Good Enough is a great little book that is very easy to read. It is full of activities that you can do to start feeling worthy and good enough. I read it in one evening with my oil burner and a fruit tea and really enjoyed it.
The first chapter is about realising your worth and what parts of your life are not connected to your worth. For example your appearance and income. It then goes on to encourage you to think about whether you imagine others are judging you. There is then a really useful exercise and space for you to write down your answers.

5 Step Self-Sabotage Spiral
Eimear then goes on to explain the “5 step self-sabotage spiral” and explains the different ways that we talk to ourselves in our head. This really got me thinking about how often we talk negatively about our self and how rarely we talk and think positively about ourselves. Gladly Eimear thinks the same and has got a brilliant exercise for you to do to start realising all the positive things about you.
The book then moves onto limiting beliefs and realising what beliefs you have about yourself. This is such a useful tool to open up your mind to what you are saying about yourself. There are then 2 really powerful exercises to transform these limiting beliefs into something that can serve you and help you with feeling worthy.
Next comes one of my favourite topics – goals. It’s time to reflect on a goal that you’ve been working towards but can never seem to achieve. Once you’ve thought of one there are two very powerful exercises to help uncover why you haven’t yet and work towards achieving what you want.
The last two exercises are about you’re new commitment moving forward and listing any resources that can help you. (Lucy Recommends: Manage Anxiety: The Freedom Formula). You are then ready to move forward with your life feeling the self-worth that you deserve.
My final thoughts
In total there are 8 exercises to get you thinking and taking action towards improving your self worth. Throughout the book there are regular “truth bombs” that help put this book and the message into perspective for you. I also love the “Affirmation Of Worth” that are throughout the book. These are great for you to start using on a daily basis to continue increasing your self worth.
This is a very powerful book that I’m sure will help you massively if you are looking to improve your self worth and feel more positive about yourself. You can click here to buy the book on Amazon.
