30 Ways To Practice Self-Care
Do you ever think that you don’t have time for yourself? Maybe you don’t know any ways to practice self-care? Do you think you’re too busy with family, work, and everything else going on to even spend 5 minutes for yourself? It’s so important to schedule time in for self-care, to do things that you enjoy and to relax. You’ll find that it will improve all other areas of your life too by looking after yourself.
Since starting this journey I’ve been dedicated to scheduling time for self-care every week. What I now do is block out at least 3 evenings a week solely for self-care. I use this time to relax – have a bath, watch a film, or just spend an evening reading or simply relaxing. I find that it increases my productivity and mindset for my working time the rest of the week by spending this time for myself.

1. A relaxing bath. I love to add magnesium flakes into my bath once a week and soak for 20 minutes to relax my mind and body. (Click here to order)

The benefits of self-care
There are so many benefits to regular self-care. Even though it feels like you may not have time for it, it is actually the opposite. You may find that you become more productive and make better use of your time. Self-care is a great way to feel relaxed and refreshed, many ways to practice self-care give this benefit. Have you ever experienced the feeling of burnout? Like you’ve got so much on and you just can’t cope anymore? Regular self-care can also prevent this feeling.
Self-care can decrease your stress levels and help you to sleep better as you generally feel more relaxed by making time for yourself regularly. You may also find that it helps you to feel happier generally and improve your mood. Regular self-care can also improve your relationships and home life, even though it seems you need to be looking after others and making time for yourself is selfish, studies show that making time for yourself means you can look after others better too. Everyone wins, so start looking after yourself in order to look after your family better. The same goes for your work like and relationships with colleagues
